Baker Mayfield was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday. Mayfield, the 2018 NFL Draft's No. 1 pick, spent four years and 62 games in Cleveland.
Unsurprising. Mayfield started 6-7 as a rookie while quarterbacking a 1-31 team. His 27 touchdown passes that year were the rookie record until 2020.

Couch, the No. 1 pick in 1999, led an expansion team. Couch and the Browns shared a division with Baltimore and Pittsburgh, whose defences would dominate the league for the next decade.
2. Tim Couch (1999-03)
Quinn came to Cleveland from Notre Dame. As a rookie, he sat the bench but made three starts in 2008. Quinn and Derek Anderson were quarterback rivals in 2009. Quinn made 10 starts, went 2-8, and was injured in Week 14.

Weeden, 28, was drafted 22nd overall by the Browns in 2012. He threw for 3,385 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions as the Browns' starter.
4. Brandon Weeden (2012-13)
The polarising former Heisman Trophy winner made eight starts for the Browns. After two terrible rookie starts (he was thrown into the starting lineup late despite Hoyer's 7-6 start), Manziel won his first game as a starter in Week 2 of 2015.
5. Johnny Manziel (2014-15)
Manziel completed 33 passes for 372 yards in a 30-9 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 10. Four weeks later, he beat the 49ers 24-10 with 270 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. This was Manziel's NFL high point.
