The Penguins won Game 1 of their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series 4-3 on Tuesday night thanks to Evgeni Malkin's overtime goal.
It was a game highlighted by Igor Shesterkin's historic performance and Louis Domingue's stunning relief effort.
Malkin tipped in a point shot from Penguins defenseman John Marino to give him the 2020 record of 85 saves against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"[Igor] smashed. Both goalies were great "Coach Gerard Gallant said. "All three goalies were great."
9:07 into the session, Penguins starter Casey DeSmith exited via the Zamboni. After the game, Sullivan said DeSmith had a lower-body injury. He had made 48 saves up to that point.
Domingue saw DeSmith leave. On-ice officials informed Domingue of his entry.
"I thought they were joking when they said I had to go in," he said. "Crazy. This is my life. Hockey."
