The Chicago Bears had a few key needs in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft on Friday night.
Of course, the Bears wanted wide receivers and offensive linemen, but cornerback was a major concern — and arguably their draught position.
The Chicago Bears selected Washington cornerback Kyler Gordon with the 39th overall pick.
Gordon will start alongside fellow second rounder Jaylon Johnson right away.
The Bears recently signed slot cornerback Tavon Young, who appears to be a strength at cornerback.
With two key players, the Chicago Bears completely revamped their cornerback room.
Gordon did not allow a single goal against him in the last two seasons.
