The 2022 Met Gala will take place on May 1st, just eight months after the star-studded red carpet of2021, which included Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, and Kendall Jenner.
Considering last year's event was “a smaller, more intimate affair,” we're guessing celebrities will go big this time around.
This year's fête will be held on Monday, May 2. From 6 p.m. ET, Vogue will livestream the red carpet arrivals.
The gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City benefits the Costume Institute.
It's an anthology of fashion, following 2021's "In America: A Lexicon of Fashion."
The show is based on a two-part museum exhibition, the second of which will “reflect the evolution of American style” and “explore the work of individual tailors, dressmakers, and designers,” according to Vogue.
The official Vogue Met Gala livestream begins at 6 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Hosts include Vanessa Hudgens, La La Anthony, and Vogue editor-at-large Hamish Bowles
