Fans slam Jake Paul for his "fake" Liverpool jersey

Jake Paul backed Liverpool in the Merseyside derby against Everton on Sunday.

The YouTuber posted two photos of himself wearing a red Liverpool jersey and shorts with Mo Salah's 11 on them.

Paul posted the images with a pre-game prediction.

"Mo Salah," he wrote. "My apologies to Everton today... The Reds thrash the Blues."

Paul tagged Salah in the post, but the Egyptian icon did not respond.

Many people thought Paul, who made $45 million last year according to Forbes, was wearing a "fake" Liverpool shirt.

Andy Robertson and Divock Origi scored both goals as Liverpool won 2-0.
