Everton beat Chelsea 1-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday, giving Frank Lampard's side a vital boost in their relegation battle.
Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford denied Chelsea a second-half equaliser after Richarlison gave the hosts the lead in the 46th minute.
Richarlison threw a flare into the Everton crowd after scoring the game-winning goal.
"I am there to help the team get three points," Pickford said.
"It was fun, but I'm there to help the team." Not getting carried away, we must keep fighting, and the fans have helped a lot.
"The manager told Richarlison at halftime to keep doing that and your chance will come." It shows working hard as a team and individually pays off."
Everton's defence stood firm in Lampard's first game against his former club since leaving Stamford Bridge last year.
