Everton help police investigate Brentford duo's racial abuse

Everton is helping police identify Brentford fans accused of racial abuse during Sunday's Premier League match at Goodison Park.

Henry scored the winner as Brentford beat Everton 3-2, and he later tweeted that his mother was targeted by home fans.

Henry: "I never speak out on things that don't harm me or my family." "Seeing my mom upset after Everton fans racially abused her made my stomach burn."

Brentford reported the incidents to police. Everton said they were assisting authorities in their investigation.

"We will support Rico's and Ivan's families and cooperate with the investigation," Brentford said.

With two games left, Everton is two points above the relegation zone.

Toney said on Twitter that someone had abused his family.
